WFG Review is covering one great moment after another at the WFG Convention of Champions 2011 in Las Vegas. On the morning of day three, there were more associates waiting to register for the event. It was announced later in the day that the event had officially “sold out” based on the number of registered associates.

After visiting the WFG Experience Exhibit Hall, convention attendees gathered in the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the WFG General Session, which began at 1 p.m. The session included recognition of associates who qualified for the World Quest 2011 trip to Tahiti, and it featured guest speaker Carl Edwards, Roush Fenway Racing driver and one of NASCAR’s brightest stars. Carl spoke about the importance of following your passion and the need for teamwork when working toward your goals. 

In the afternoon, Joe DiPaola, President & CEO of World Financial Group, Inc., gave a “state of the company” address in which he discussed where the company is now and where he believes it will be 10 years from now. He also noted how associates are changing the world every day by offering their services to families who need help in building a strategy for their financial futures and by sharing the business opportunity to people seeking an opportunity to build their own business.

Paul Mineck, WFG’s Chief Marketing Officer, gave a rousing speech in which he announced key company initiatives — including the launch of a new associate intranet website — designed to take WFG to the next level. Other top WFG field leaders — including Jeff Levitan, Ed Mylett, Réal Michaud and Xuan Nguyen  — spoke throughout the 6-hour session, offering their thoughts on the need for what WFG offers to both clients and budding entrepreneurs. Additionally, they offered their insights on how associates can build a solid business that can grow well into the future, helping not only their families have a better financial future but allowing them to help others achieve their dreams as well.

Following the General Session, it was time for special guests and VIPs to socialize and groove to the great music at the famed Studio 54 during a special two-hour event exclusive to World Financial Group.
