Today was a great day of learning for WFG associates as several breakout sessions were in full swing for the second-to-last day of the WFG Convention of Champions 2011. Top field leaders, WFG’s rising stars and headquarters executives offered tips, strategies and thoughts on the future of World Financial Group to crowded rooms of eager associates who want to build a stronger, greater business with this company. As was noted by Joe DiPaola, President & CEO of World Financial Group, Inc., every time an associate touches a life they make a difference in the world.

This evening, associates began gathering at 5 p.m. for the Gala Awards Celebration pre-show, which included interviews with associates, great music and more.  Then everyone’s attention turned stage-ward as awards were given to WFG associates who went above-and-beyond in the last year to grow their businesses, offer multitudes of people the chance to start their own financial services businesses, and help individuals and families strategize for better financial futures.

The Gala Awards Celebration also included stirring videos and exciting remarks from Joe DiPaola and Scott Ham, President & CEO of Transamerica Life and Protection, Inc. and was closed with a powerful speech from Rich Thawley, member of the WFG’s Board of Directors. Afterward, award winners and special guests attended a reception at the beautiful MGM Grand’s Producer’s Pool.
