The 2012 World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) season continued last Thursday at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede in Medicine Hat, Alberta from June 7-9. World Financial Group (WFG) sponsored chuckwagon racer and this season’s winner of the Grand Prairie Stompede, Jason Glass, participated in the races with his WFG logo-tarped wagon.
Jason finished with a time of 1:01.82 on day one to gain 30 points. Races on day two found Glass in 11th place with a time of 1:02.24 and 26 points, ranking him 8th in the aggregate. Glass came back to place 2nd on day three with a time of 1:01.74, gaining 64 points. Inclement weather caused unsafe driving conditions on day four, canceling the Winner-Take-All final.
Overall, Jason finished in 3rd place in the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede with a total time of 3:05:80 and 120 points.
The WPCA competition heads to High River, AB for the Guy Weadick Professional Rodeo & Chuckwagon Races set for June 16 & 17 and June 22-24, 2012. If you’re in the area, stop by the World Financial Group booth, hosted by EVC, David Limpert, on June 23, 2012 from 3:00 to 6:00pm. Be sure to get your WFG poster signed by Jason Glass in the Beer Garden on June 24th at 1:30pm.
